A new collaboration between Lykos Winery and Fungi Hellas has begun and promises you unforgettable wine and gastronomic discoveries! Lykos Winery in Evia is one of the few certified wineries with amazing wines, wine and food tastings, a restaurant and a few in Europe with its own line of cosmetic products made by wine by-products.
From now on, all our friends and visitors from Greece and abroad can explore the amazing natural beauty of Evia, combining mushroom and truffle excursions and finally enjoying exceptional wines at the winery.

3 star Starters & Main Courses

Fungi Hellas participated in Ecole Ducasse's three-day program on "3 star Starters & Main Courses" with the French Chef Bastien Ancelet, organized by AKMI IEK in Athens, 4-6 February 2020.

Mr. Nektarios Filippopoulos, owner of Fungi Hellas and mushroom expert, presented his company's products, wild mushrooms, fresh Greek truffle along with wild herbs and vegetables. At the same time, he analyzed the philosophy of Fungi Hellas, namely food collecting and the leading role it plays in the world's top cuisines.

3 star Starters & Main Courses

H Fungi Hellas συμμετείχε στο τριήμερο πρόγραμμα της Ecole Ducasse με θέμα "3 star Starters & Main Courses" με τον Γάλλο Chef Bastien Ancelet, που διοργανώθηκε από το ΙΕΚ ΑΚΜΙ στην Αθήνα, 4-6 Φεβρουαρίου 2020.

Ο Κος Νεκτάριος Φιλιππόπουλος, ιδιοκτήτης της Fungi Hellas και μανιταρογνώστης, παρουσίασε τα προίόντα της εταιρείας του, άγρια μανιτάρια, φρέσκια Ελληνική τρούφα μαζί με άγρια βότανα και λαχανικά. Παράλληλα, ανέλυσε την φιλοσοφία της Fungi Hellas, δηλαδή την προώθηση της τροφοσυλλογής και τον πρωταρχικό ρόλο που παίζει στις κορυφαίες κουζίνες του κόσμου.

Scolymus hispanicus

Οι Ασκόλυμπροι είναι ένα υπέροχο, άγριο χόρτο και μαγειρεύονται με πολλούς τρόπους. Βραστοί με λαδολέμονο, μάραθα, και με χοχλιούς. Trufle hunting, December 2019

On December 21, the Fungi Hellas team had the honor of hosting an excellent truffle hunt for the Kazakh Ambassador and staff of the Russian Embassy.
The excursion took place in the virgin mountains of the Peloponnese where our guests had the opportunity to taste 5 of the most famous truffles (Magnatum / Melanosporum / Uncinatum / Messentericum / Black Oregon) in special Greek specialties:

1. Cold plate of cheese with pickled vine sprouts and "tsitsiravla" sprouts
2. Sliced ​​bread with basil quail eggs and Tuber Magnatum
3. Beef fillet with parmesan and Tuber Messentericum
4. "Orzoto" with wild mushrooms and Tuber Melanosporum
5. Crepe with strained traditional yogurt, vanilla fir honey and spoon sweet with chandeliers and black trumpets.
