Tamus communis is an excellent food, the tender shoots are harvested, their taste is bitter, so they heat up and toss the first water before consuming. They are cooked in a variety of ways, fried with omelette eggs, salad with lemon or vinegar and oil, but it comes with very good seafood and lemonade dishes.
